PRECISION CONNECTED PROSTHESES
Patients with a high number of missing teeth who cannot wear a fixed prosthesis have to choose between the insertable and removable prosthesis or the implant-supported fixed prosthesis. The attachment prostheses, which are called skeletal prostheses, surround the tooth all around with holding parts, which are called crochet.
Crochet, also known as a hook, is aesthetically uncomfortable, especially when it is in the smile line. In precision prostheses, parts called snaps or sliders replace these crochets.
